Meanwhile, traditional wealth managers were toooccupiedby meeting regulatoryrequirements and were facing the crisis complexities, new types of firms saw an opportunity to leverage theirtechnologicalcapabilities for delivering fasterand cheaper investment methods to financial professionals. Indeed, technological financial firms, more knownunderthe term 'Fintech', have really taken offsince the financial crisis of 2008.
