Praktische Theologie

This volume offers a panorama of the entire field of practical theology. The primary concern of this field, it is argued, is the “present-day communication of the Gospel” – this communication is analyzed in terms of its empirical conditions and theological provisions. Written with a practical orientation, the work considers the social forms, functions, and rhetorical strategies of the present-day communication of the Gospel and also presents a variety of innovative interpretative approaches.
