His book, Standard Deviations: Flawed Assumptions, Tortured Data, and Other Ways to Lie With Statistics, was a London Times Book of the Week. The 9 Pitfalls of Data Science, coauthored with Jay Cordes, won the 2020 PROSE Award for Popular Science and Popular Mathematics.
Margaret Smith is a Certified Financial Planner, Certified Coach, Enneagram Professional, and Author. She earned a simultaneous BA/MA Summa Cum Laude in Economics from Yale, a PhD in Business Economics from Harvard University, and was an Economics Professor for a decade.
